My professional journey began in the early 1980s in the construction and property services industries—long before home inspections became standard practice. This real-world, boots-on-the-ground experience gave me a clear understanding of how homes are built, how they break down, and how to protect the families living in them.
In 1997, I formally entered the home inspection profession and founded 2020 Property Inspections. Since then, I’ve completed thousands of inspections and expanded our services to include mold assessment, termite and pest control, insurance inspections, and real estate consulting.
But our success didn’t come from licensing alone—it came from building a culture of excellence, structure, and mentorship. I’ve taken everything I’ve learned from decades in construction, operations, human resources, and customer service leadership—and I’ve used it to personally train and develop our inspection and office teams. From how we write our reports to how we walk a customer through concerns, my standards are not only taught, but embedded in the way we operate every day.
